Sometimes the best tool for a job is the biggest in the box. Any member
of the CV series is up to the task of handling your biggest processes.
One of the great things about this line of controllers is that there is
more than one way for these models to communicate with your other machines.
Depending on what you want to accomplish with your application, a member
of the CV series will meet your needs.
If you need speed,
the CV Series supports the fastest control and throughput in the industry.
If ease of data transfer (from place to place) is most desirable to you,
the CV series uses a memory card that is the size of a credit card with
a memory capacity of one megabyte. If the flexibility of distributed I/O
is a major concern, the CV series gives you the option of distributing
your I/O ports over a distance up to 10km (6.2 miles)!
Additionally, the CV
series offers multiple device connectivity, 40K internal relays, several
programming options (SFC, ladder programming or a combination of both)
and ability to communicate among computers, BASIC co-processors and other
controllers or PLCs – up to three networks deep!

Omron's FINS (Factory Intelligent Network Services) Protocols, which provide
an intelligent link and management of between networked controllers. The
